The client’s brief was to incorporate food plants into the overall design, take advantage of gorgeous views, and to garden for the well-being of all forms of life. The infinity pool on the upper terrace echoes the bay beyond. Down the slope we created a “food forest” with olives and an array of fruit trees (lemon, lime, loquat, nectarine, and others) and an understory of grasses, myrtle, lavender and rosemary.
